    Yes there have been about 4 matches in their meetings which Azarenka should have won, but credit to Serena in her usual comeback wins. Serena raised her level and Azarenka could not keep up. Fact is when Serena is in her zone, no one can touch her. Her serve (the best female serve ever) and her power game is just invincible when she is in the zone.(2009 AO, 2010 AO, 2012 US (i cannot remember the other 1 🙁

    Yes. Azarenka really struggles against players that can outhit her. Serena and Kvitova often defeats Azarenka b/c of their relentless aggressiveness and not allowing Azarenka to play her controlled aggressiion game. Reason Azarenka beats Sharapova despite Sharapova being a bigger hitter than Azarenka is because Sharapova serve is too inconsistent unlike Serena/Kvitova and that unlike Serena/Kvitova, Sharapova only has plan A and no backup plan playstyle

    Once Kvitova gets her act together I really see her being a force in women’s tennis. She really has the whole package: the serve, power groundies, slice backhand and a solid netgame. Her only real weakness is her footspeed which i believe will improve =when she decides to truly work on her fitness. call Gil Reyes pls. He worked wonders for Agassi you know (Verdasco too b4 he reverted back to his old self)

    I actually wanted a Serena vs Kvitova in 2012, but Kvitova pulled out sick ….and the courts this year were playing much slower than in 2011.

    Kvitova is a genuis, but not consident enough.
    If she can handle the ball timing, then she can beat almost eveyplayer, but she usually didn’t.

    2011 Championships were really interesting, Kvitova and Azarenka were truly the most confident players there, and this final was beautiful (the best of the year). Hope Serena will win it this year, maybe against Petra.

    If they are at their best no doubt about it, but that applies to Sharapova as well. I thought this was going to be Kvitova’s year instead it’s been Serena’s and Azarenka’s thus far
