Dunno why but when ever i see kirilenko play, it looks like she doesnt try hard enough to me or shes not aggressive enough. She prolly needs a better coach or needs to work harder.
Petra is talented as hell and hungry for glory. If she continues her improvement, she may become almost unplayable, something like Djokovic this year. Anyway, she is already unplayable indoors with 21 wins in a row and counting.
I absolutely love Kvitova and her game. The telling part is if/when she’s injured, her ability to come back and still be good. That’s what makes a great champ, being able to come back from injury.
Congrats to Kvitova, a fanstastic year and to the Czech team! Felt bad for Kirilenko and Vesnina though. They were like sacrificial lambs. Kvitova just finished winning YEC mere days ago, and Kirilenko and Vesnina were already on vacation mode. Although, I don’t think Kirilenko at top form would have beaten Kvitova in her current form now, at least it wouldn’t have been a ridiculous scoreline…or maybe?…anyways, congrats.

Domination. I would have loved to see this Kvitova vs ’10 Serena, ’08 Sharapova, or ’07 Henin.
