Reed Backs Kvitova

When Petra Kvitova won her first Major title, the whole world knew that a star had been born.  And now, when she is about to finish the season as the top ranked female in the world, we know that she is here to stay!

Having secured countless titles in both the majors and the other WTA events, Kvitova could be forgiven for taking some time out of the game, but she is straight back into a new training regime ahead of the Australian Open.

Tennis commentator Simon Reed thinks she has it all.  “Petra Kvitova can blow anyone else away with her powerful game when she is at her best, and the Czech has a very special and successful career ahead of her.  I would certainly back Kvitova to usurp Caroline Wozniacki at the top of the world rankings, and she could well be very dominant for years to come” said Reed.

“She is very unlikely to ever win the French Open because of her game, but I could see her winning the other three Grand Slams time and time again.”
