5:05 this point was amazing! Petra has one of my favorite backhands on the WTA tour, and she’s also my favorite player. Im glad that after the Us Open horrible session she could win Linz and YEC and she came back to her usual level.
damn radwanska was up 5-1… and all she had to do was win the next game and shed qualify.. and she of course chokes… how the hell was she up 5-1 against kvitova in the first place. kvitova is just on sometimes and off sometimes… if she was on, it wouldve been like playing wozniacki, another pusher. and kvitova just destroys pushers
I’d like to see Kvitova play in Brisbane, the field would be extremely good with her in the draw! Serena, Kim, Maria, Ana and Daniela confirmed their participation. I can’t wait to see WTA in 2012. :DDD
@TennisFan713 sorry i forgot abt sharapova man she was relentless in 05 and 06 she is still very much capable of hitting huge and not letting up on the gas pedal but thats overlooked because of her service woes 🙁
@TennisFan713 hantuchova no way she sometimes wud push the ball to much, but if we talking about hitting the ball hard consistently getting a clean strike each and every time kvitova wud be at the top davenport second pierce or seles wud be third. serena and venus are big hitters but consistently they wudnt always get a clean pure strike but of course they are big hitters.
@wozniacki15 i would add sharapova and hantuchova to that list…. but back about 5 or 6 years of course 😛 and stosur too, even with spin i feel like she hits as hard a ball as any, so if she flattened things out it would be terrifying.
@thebam5131 definitely serena is capable of hitting harder than kvitova, but i think what wozniacki15 is saying is that kvitova has a constant barrage of heavy hitting going, serena doesn’t always hit with power she uses more placement, so i think kvitova would count as the biggest consistent hitter cause she always puts power behind each and every groundstroke. 🙂
kvitova imo has to be the biggest hitter the womens tour has ever had and i men consistently off the ground. pierce davenport seles serena and venus spring to mind tho but kvitova is at the top of my list

passive pusher is back. I hope that was only shoulder injury but….

Venus is still the hardest hitter in the game…Hands down…Kvitova is right up there though, but I hate how she barks after hitting a winner

@wozniacki15 err imo, serena would have to be the biggest hitter. 🙂
